Client Services Inc – My Story

“Being Harassed By Debt Collectors From Client Services Inc?”

My Client Services Inc Experience

Hello, my name is Casey and My Client Services completely ruined my credit! If you read this page, you can learn how I got them off my credit!

Stop Them Before They Ruin Your Credit. Learn How From My True Story and Real Credit Reports, Credit Scores, and Other Documents

If you have a debt that’s being handled by Client Services, Inc, I feel your pain. Not long ago, I was in your shoes.

It all started with some overdue credit card bills. I had gotten one of those zero interest for six months store cards leading up to the holidays, and put a ton of charges on it in the course of my holiday shopping. I was counting on getting a raise in the new year, and I thought that in six months I would have no trouble paying off the card.

Well, things didn’t exactly turn out as planned. My company got hit by the recession and we got the most pitiful “cost of living” type raises you can imagine. I couldn’t handle the credit card bill in addition to all of my regular expenses. I made minimum payments for a while and then just kind of got overwhelmed by other bills and stopped paying at all.

I actually forgot all about that credit card debt until I received a letter about it from Client Services Inc. Apparently they had bought my debt from the original creditor, and now they wanted to collect. They sent letters about once a week, and they called just about every day.

At first I tried to work with them. I knew I owed money to the original creditor, but I also knew that collection agencies buy debt for a fraction of their original value. So I figured that I should be able to haggle with Client Services Inc a bit and get my balance lowered. I thought we could find a middle ground, an amount that would still allow them to turn a profit but would save me from having to pay any of the ridiculous fees that they had tacked on to my original debt. I tried to reason with my debt collector and appeal to his heart…turns out he didn’t have one! He was all business and I wasn’t making any progress by talking to him.

Credit Score Dropped to 501

Client Services Inc was Ruthless with my credit report. My score almost dropped below 500 because of them - I could not believe the impact it had.

It’s a good thing that we can learn from our mistakes, because I was making a bunch of them!

-First of all, you really shouldn’t engage with your debt collector at all. Don’t be fooled into thinking that you’re friends. The debt collector is a professional with a single goal in mind: milking as much money as possible out of you. Trying to negotiate or reason with him is usually a waste of time.

-Next, you shouldn’t even bother trying to make a debt collector feel sorry for you. No matter how unique you think your particular situation is, they’ve heard it all before. Besides, debt collectors work on commission, so they don’t get paid until you start paying down your debt. You’re just a job to them.

-If you must negotiate with your debt collector, never do so over the phone. You need to have a written record of your communications.

-Also, you should not even consider paying one red cent to the debt collection agency until you’ve thoroughly exhausted every other option.

Fortunately, I failed to come to any sort of agreement with Client Services Inc and I didn’t agree to a payment plan. This is good, because I probably would have been confused by all their financial mumbo jumbo and ended up locked into years of payments and an interest structure that I didn’t fully understand.

Once again, I fell into the pattern of ignoring the problem. I started throwing away the Client Services Inc letters unopened, and I stopped answering the phone entirely. This annoyed my wife, who thinks it’s rude to screen your phone calls, but we both agreed that we weren’t going to let Client Services Inc interrupt my limited time with my family in the evenings.

When my income finally improved a little bit, my wife and I decided to upgrade her car. The one she had was really unreliable, and we were always afraid it would break down and strand her and the kids somewhere.

I knew we would need financing for a new car, so I pulled a copy of my credit report to see what the possibilities would be. What I saw really upset me. Client Services Inc had reported my debt as a collection item to all three credit bureaus, and my credit score was now barely 500 points. Obviously, with a credit score like that we could kiss good financing for a new car goodbye. The only good thing was that I’d thought to look up the credit score before we went looking for cars, and avoided being humiliated in front of strangers.

One night I confided my troubles to a friend. He had gone through similar money and credit problems a few years ago, and I knew that he would understand and not think badly of me. Not only was my friend understanding and sympathetic, he was also surprisingly optimistic about the whole situation.

He told me that he had had a low credit score too, but he had hired the professionals at Lexington Law to repair it. With their help, his credit quickly rose into the 700s. Debt collection agents also stopped harassing him, and he was able to break the cycle of financial problems and get back on his feet.

Client Services Inc Deleted!

Lexington Law Deleted Client Services Inc from My Credit Reports within Days. My Credit Score Jumped Immediately!

My friend encouraged me to pull my head out of the sand and let Lexington Law help me confront the problem head on. He told me that Lexington Law used several proven tactics to help their clients get out of credit score trouble:

-Debt Validation. Before they do anything else, Lexington Law initiates the debt validation process to force the debt collector to PROVE that you owe the debt. If they can’t prove it, the debt is absolved.

-Statute of Limitations. Lexington Law also checks to make sure that the statute of limitations on the original debt has not yet run out. If the debt is too old, companies like Client Services Inc can’t collect on it anymore. I was really glad I had never paid anything to Client Services Inc, because doing so would have restarted the statute of limitations on my debt.

-Checks for Legal Violations. Consumers are protected from unscrupulous debt collectors by the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Lexington Law will review your case history and determine if any of the debt collector’s actions violate the provisions of these acts.

Because I trusted my friend, I called Lexington Law the next day. The woman who took my call was very polite and kind. She was the complete opposite of the Client Services Inc people I’d been dealing with! She was interested in my personal story, and wanted to know what my financial goals were and why I had decided to clean up my credit. I told her about my wife needing an upgrade to a more reliable vehicle. The Lexington Law rep assured me that her company could help.

The free consultation went so well that I immediately hired Lexington Law to repair my credit. Within 30 days, I started getting notices stating that my Client Services Inc collection items had been removed from my credit history. Right there in my hands, I had proof that Lexington Law’s service had worked!

My credit score recovered 106 points, which allowed me to get good financing for my wife’s new car. Plus, my stress levels have gone way down which is a huge help to my overall health.
